FINAL FANTASY XIV: ENDWALKER

FINAL FANTASY XIV DAZZLES WITH ENDWALKER EXPANSION RELEASE DATE AND TRAILER

A new adventure awaits players in Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIV. The MMORPG, which is officially free up to level 60 and features the recently published expansions "A Realm Reborn" and "Heavensward," will receive a new expansion in the form of "Endwalker," which will send Warriors of Light on an adventure that will include a trip to the moon.
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the new name for Square Enix's reworked and relaunched MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. And if the new batch of screenshots is any indicator, this is a world I'd like to explore. Beautiful work.

The event covered a lot of territories, so let's concentrate on the important things. The moon – and yes, there is gravity and oxygen, as you'll discover during the expansion – is commonplace in the wider series, spanning many titles, and "Endwalker" seeks to continue the storied history. In a brief trailed shot, one of the moon's regions, Mare Lamentorum, was seen.

More areas await players in "Endwalker," as they do in previous expansions. Players will be able to fly to Old Sharlayan, which has previously been mentioned in the game. According to director/producer Naoki Yoshida (aka Yoshi-P), this center will be for this extension what Crystarium was for the iconic "Shadowbringers," which will no doubt excite longtime fans. It's the players' first visit, and it's an isolationist scholar country that won't take kindly to the unexpected population boom. Other new locations include Labyrinthos, an underwater environment illuminated by an artificial sun; Thavnair, the in-universe origin of the Dancer job; and an unnamed floating sky settlement.

In addition to the latest lunar adventure, "Endwalker" will feature two new jobs: the Sage, which was first announced in February, and the Reaper. Yoshi-P illustrated how players can wield a scythe and hack up opponents with this melee DPS job in his own Reaper cosplay. Your work will begin in Ul'dah, and all you need is any of your characters to be level 70 to begin your new life as a Reaper.

One last bit of news, which would no doubt delight many fans: "Endwalker" by Male Viera is on the way. The rabbit-like people, first seen in Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, made their way to FFXIV in 2019 with "Shadowbringers." At the time, only the Female Viera and a female version of the lion-like Hrothgar were available, and Square had no plans to unleash the opposite gender versions suitable for any race The Male Viera has seen the light of day due to the fans' enthusiasm and the graphics team's "very hard work." What about the female Hrothgar? It will not be included with "Endwalker," although it is expected to be added later.

The "Endwalker" expansion for Final Fantasy XIV will be available on November 23 for PC and PS4. Later this year, a PS5 variant of the MMO will be released later this year.
